Capturing the Journey
I consider myself a storyteller, and weddings are a cacophony of stories all running headfirst into each other and intersecting in such a unique way. I aim to simply capture it all as it unfolds and offer direction only when needed.
I am deeply aware of how much each person present at your wedding means to you, and how much effort it's taken, both in your relationship and in your planning process, to get to this point. The memories and stories captured at a wedding are, really and truly, priceless.
From a technical perspective, wedding days are a beautiful artistic challenge, posing ever-changing lighting situations, emotional factors, logistics of timelines and vendors, and all of your guests - and through it all, right in the eye of the storm, is you. You are the art, and it's your story I aim to capture.
A lot of photographers consider themselves your hype-person, and while I think that's wonderful, that's not my role. My strength is being calm in the chaos, someone who can take deep breaths with you when things get overwhelming (and, like, also hit the dance floor with you once all the pressure is gone). My mission is to capture what it feels like and to walk with you through your planning process to take all the pressure off of the intimidating parts of wedding planning, leaving you with memories you were actually present to experience.

A disclaimer to keep in mind that is something that will also be listed in our contract together. A 50% deposit of the package will be due on or after the signing of a contract to secure you in my calendar and as my client.

I am based in Shokan, NY, in the Catskill Mountain Region, but I’m always available to travel!

YES! I love to travel and no location is too near or too far. Please note that depending on the location and distance that there may be additional travel and accommodation costs charged. However all of this will be discussed during our consultation/communications.

In order to book my services for your wedding or shoot a 50% booking fee is required with the outstanding balance due 10 days before your wedding date.

YES! I shoot primarily photo, but I also take on video whenever it’s requested by someone. Whether it’s just video or dual photo and video, we can discuss it in more detail during our consultation/communications.

I understand how scary this could be to couples. Should anything happen, i have a network of very reliable, incredible photographers that I will have stand in my place. All editing and image selections will still be done by me.

My shooting style and editing style go hand in hand and it has taken a long time and a lot of trial and error to get the two to a place where I feel they compliment one another. Regretfully i cannot edit your images in a different style to mine, therefore I strongly suggest you familiarise yourself with my work before booking.
